Acceptable use policy

Version 1, in effect from 6 November 2026.

The short version

  • Use Centrely for your own centre, lawfully and honestly.
  • Message only parents who've agreed to hear from you, and stop when they ask.
  • Collect only the details about parents and children that you need.
  • Never try to see another centre's information.

This policy is part of Centrely's terms. It applies to every centre that uses Centrely, and to everyone who uses Centrely for a centre: its owners and its staff.

Use Centrely for your centre

Centrely is for running your tuition centre and talking with parents about it. Use it lawfully, and only for your own centre.

Please don't

  • send spam, or mass messages that parents didn't ask for;
  • publish anything false or misleading about your fees, classes or results;
  • upload anything unlawful, harmful or infringing, or any malicious software;
  • collect more information about parents or children than you need, or use it for anything they didn't agree to;
  • try to see another centre's information, get around a security measure, or share sign-ins or authenticators;
  • pretend to be someone else.

Messaging parents on WhatsApp Coming later

  • Message a parent first only if they've agreed to hear from your centre, in a way that names your centre.
  • Stop when a parent asks you to, whether they ask on WhatsApp or anywhere else.
  • Keep to what parents agreed to hear about from your centre.
  • Follow WhatsApp's Business Messaging Policy and Meta's terms for businesses, which apply to your centre's WhatsApp account.

The assistant Coming later

  • It answers parents about your centre only, from what you've published.
  • Don't use it for anything else, such as homework help or general chat, and don't present it as a person: it says it's your centre's assistant.

If something goes wrong

If we see something that breaks this policy, we'll tell you and work with you to fix it. To stop serious harm, we may pause the part of Centrely involved straight away, and tell you why.
